Open Enrollment for Individual + Family Plans began November 1st!

And it’s gotten easier than ever, with carriers making changes to enrollment platforms as well as networks. We included a few new items to draw your attention to:

• We’re excited to announce that 2025 UCare Individual & Family Plans are open for enrollment off-exchange or via MNsure from November 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025.
  • At this time, off-exchange enrollment should be completed through the IFP broker portal whenever possible to ensure your application and commissions will be processed in a timely manner. Review the IFP broker portal training videos.
  • If you are having difficulty logging in to their new IFP broker portal, email brokers@ucare.org. UCare’s broker specialists are the only ones who have access to assist you.

• Medica has announced that Park Nicollet clinics + Methodist Hospital are joining our Medica Applause® plan network effective Jan. 1, 2025. See the list of all locations that will become in-network with Applause. Note that neither MNsure nor our Applause provider directory will reflect this change until December 2024, since this is such late-breaking news. HealthPartners clinics and hospitals remain out-of-network for Applause, other than locations like the Hutchinson and Olivia hospitals + clinics, which continue to be available in the Applause network.
