Open Enrollment runs through Jan. 15, but there’s an important deadline in December. Consumers must enroll in a plan Wednesday by December 18 for coverage that starts New Year’s Day.
MNsure is the only place Minnesotans can find savings to reduce their health care costs, including discounts (tax credits) and other forms of financial help. Eligible households are expected to save an average of $561 per month on their health insurance premiums next year with discounts available through MNsure.
MNsure has seen a considerable number of enrollments during the current open enrollment period, with reports indicating a record-breaking number of sign-ups since November, exceeding 132,000 individuals. This represents an increase of around 11% compared to the previous year. Per MNsure CEO Libby Caulum. “If you need health insurance and don’t know where to turn, start at MNsure.org.” LeClair agents can also start with LeClair! These plans can be an effective way of mitigating risk on an HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan. In fact, First Dollar plans should always be part of the conversation during Open Enrollment.
