Course Title:  New Agent 101 

Course Objectives/Description: In the complex and ever-changing health insurance environment that we live in, every community in Minnesota and across the US for that matter desires to have well-trained professional Health and Life Insurance agents it can rely on for Knowledgeable accurate advice.  New Agent 101 lays the foundation towards achieving that goal.

In this course, you will learn what the requirements are to sell a specific line of insurance. For example, individual plans on MNsure and Medicare Advantage plans offered by private health insurers. You will learn practical skills in how to run an appointment, how to determine what insurance product is suitable for a given client, and what it takes to be licensed and appointed to sell.  Agents will also learn how to market themselves and their business by developing a marketing plan and a networking plan.
